What Can Solo 401k Invest In?
First, while Solo 401k may be invested in most investment types with the exception of collectibles and certain metals that do not fall in the precious metals category, this does not always translate to the Solo 401k Trustee/Participant having option to invest his or her Solo 401k in what he thinks are the best investments. Reason being, certain Solo 401k providers restrict their Solo 401k clients to only investing in equities (mutual funds and stocks), while other providers only allow their clients to invest Solo 401k in their products.
